Estimating Project Costs

Construction Managers, Inc. prepares project estimates for architects, engineers, general contractors, and owners. Once preliminary plans are prepared, detailed comprehensive cost estimates are made based upon the specifications of the project. Estimates are created using a combination of Timberline Estimating software and Craftsman Costbook pricing data. Over the years, Construction Managers, Inc. has built a detailed database that we use to estimate the overall cost of the project. This custom built database ensures accurate results. It allows a project to be built for the proposed budget. Once the construction drawings and specifications are completed, the final project cost is determined.

Bidding the Project

Construction Mangers, Inc. acquires bid proposals from pre-qualified trade contractors and vendors. These proposals and our quantity estimates create the project estimate. We work directly with trade contractors and vendors to ensure they understand all applicable bid construction documents. This ensures total agreement of the scope of work for the submitted cost. We always select the most qualified company with the accurate cost for the scope of work. After selecting the trade contractors and vendors, we prepare award contracts and begin the construction management stage.
